The purpose of this blog is to compare Ford pickups to other makes... specifically Dodge and Chevy. it will look at consumer, safety, and quality ratings along with technical specifications.
Well if you are going to compare trucks look at the specs the ford has the loweset torque and horsepower. Take it from a mechanic the spec are unquestionable. HP@RPM Chevy 295@5600 Dodge 310@5650 Ford 292@5700 Torque@RPM Chevy 305@4600 Dodge 330@3950 Ford 320@4000 Now this is just the specs on the lower 4. Liter engins but it speakes for it self.So my professional opinion is the Dodge is the best buy for your money. P.S. and the Dodge also cost 1500 dollars less than the other two.
I am just an average guy who grew up loving 4X4 pickups in Henderson, Tx deep in the heart of East Texas. I currently reside in Provo, Ut and love visiting the national parks down in Southern Ut. I am a student at Brigham Young University and a 3rd year cadet with the Army ROTC and hope to go active duty in aviation once I graduate.
